Job summary To provide the social care needs of CAMHS in-patient service users as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, in conditions of a general adolescent Mental Health Unit.The successful candidate will join the already established Senior Social Worker on the unit and work closely with them on the unit.CAMHS inpatient experience is desirable but other forms of experience can be considered. Main duties of the job The role will be within the CAMHS inpatient service. We therefore require a person who has a sound knowledge base of the relevant legislation and underpinning guidance that helps us to support and improve well-being in children and young people. As part of the social work team the postholder will work within an MDT where the social work responsibilities are key in promoting well-being and supporting discharge planning through having an excellent ability to undertake robust social care assessments that feed into CPA and children's social care. the purpose for this...
