Job description Experienced Social Worker – Assessment/Reunification in Cardiff To undertake comprehensive assessment including parenting assessments, viability assessments and assessment to enable children to be reunified home.Experience of undertaking assessments using the DOH Framework of assessment and have knowledge and understanding of the principals of the NSPCC Reunification framework.Understand the impact of trauma both on parents capacity and on the child’s needs.Expectations of attending Court.Have experience of working with children and their families and undertaking pieces of work used within court proceedings which require excellent report writing skills and evidence based analysis.Ability to complete Section 47 investigations when required and carry out direct work and safeguarding duties son a duty basis within the team.
